Lucha Libre!
We witnessed one of the most entertaining shows I have ever been to! Lucha Libre (translates to Free Wrestling) is a never-to-be missed Mexican cultural experience. We went on Sunday Lucha Libre Family night, where it was child-friendly, in fact many fan-cheering kids and families were sitted behind us! The atmosphere is high-energy and extremely fun! You can tell many have their own favorite Luchadores (wrestler) as they chanted their names “Mistico, Mistico!”. The scene outside Arena Mexico is hectic, with many vendors selling tickets, masks and capes. Once we were in our seats and the show began, my boys, myself and Owwa Ester had the time of our lives! So. Much. Fun. You can tell they were faking their wrestling moves and pretending to get hit We laughed so hard a lot! It is a must see in Mexico city.
After another 1.5 hour domestic flight, we are now back in Puerto Vallarta to experience the “Touristy” Mexico with beaches and all-inclusive hotels and such. My kids are now excited to swim in warm Mexico Beaches.
